There are seasons when an old identity no longer fits, but the new one has not yet become familiar. That gap can feel like failure. It is often the beginning of reinvention.

Starting again does not mean starting empty. You carry evidence, relationships, hard-earned judgment, mistakes, resilience and skills that did not exist the first time around.

The useful question is not, “How do I become somebody completely different?” It is, “What must I keep, what must I release, and what must I now practise consistently?”

Reinvention becomes practical when it moves from aspiration into identity, habits and deliberate action.
