Many people know what they want to change. Fewer ask who they need to become in order to sustain that change.

Identity is not a motivational slogan. It is the internal standard behind everyday decisions. When the identity and the goal are in conflict, the old identity usually wins.

A meaningful identity shift begins by noticing the stories that have become automatic: what you believe is available to you, what you expect from yourself, and what you do when things become uncomfortable.

From there, the work is evidence. Small, repeated actions create proof. Proof changes self-trust. Self-trust changes the range of decisions you are willing to make.
